If you're experiencing a problem with IF, please read these over for your answer. If you still haven't found a solution for your problem, email admin@illustrationfriday.com.

Problem: My link is not showing up in the list. I know that my thumbnail is the correct filesize and I'm linking to a static page, but it's still not working.
Solution: Most likely you have saved your thumbnail as a gif and it needs to be a jpg. Resave your thumb as a jpg and upload again.

Problem: I can't get my thumbnail down to the right size.
Solution: In the program you are creating your thumbnail, choose "Save for Web" instead of "Save As". This will allow you to reduce file size significantly. Also, remember to save as a jpg.

Problem: My link posted, but my thumbnail is not showing up... It looks like a question mark.
Solution: Next week please use a web safe file name. That means a name that does not have any spaces or zeroes in it.

Problem: My link seems to have disappeared.
Solution: Did you post photography? If so, it has been deleted. While we love photography, we consider it to be in a different category than illustration. If you want to post photographs, please visit www.photofriday.com. We still love you and hope you'll draw or paint something for the next topic!

Problem: My link pops up an error window.
Solution: Please make sure you copy and paste your entire url address into the window. Watch out because there is already an http:// in there. So select that and paste.
We reserve the right to delete or modify a link for any reason, without notice.
